Re: Let Us Discuss What Ye Be Thinking Right Now

I really wish I had a degree instead if being a dropout. I feel so inadequate sometimes! Depends on what you want to do, It's taken me until my early 30's to find a job that I both enjoy and I have a talent for and I very much doubt a degree that I would have picked 10 years ago would have either l...

Re: Former Loners - Camp Moocrab 2014!

New thread bitches. Get posting. Though it might be a bit silly since we're one big raggedy pirate moogoose camp now . Yeah, not sure if there will be a Camp Pirate 2014 tbh, last time out we ended up with the Pirates in 3 separate camps, one with me, Cazzy and Absinthe and a whole bunch of noobs, ...

Re: Let Us Discuss What Ye Be Thinking Right Now

It's the same with the Polish shops in Huddersfield, a couple of Polish branded items and the rest just the usual brands you'd find everywhere only written in Polish. Sounds like you and thorn don't actually have Polish Supermarkets, more that you have some dude filling his shop with cheap 'grey ma...

Thats kinda strange tbh! Even the likes of tesco in Edinburgh have actual polish brands!

I can spend ages doing a food shopping, in the area I live in there are some awesome food shops! Everything from high end butchers and cheesemongers to cracking specialist supermarkets covering chinese, thai, halal, polish, turkish, mediteranian and South African! Oh and a russian supermarket has ju...

Good effort Cleland! It's one thing I've never really had a problem with is weight, I always carry a bit but anytime I am feeling uncomfortably heavy then a month or 2 hitting the bike or the gym and I'll shift the weight easily, even as I've gotten older it hasn't changed! I am currently 31 and aro...

It is broken heart and doesn't have any other kiddy fiddling references.

Re: Romance

Find it amusing when people say they give up on Men or Women. It has nothing to do with gender, it is just that you are hacked off with a particular person and it is easier to put it down to their gender rather than just saying that the person is being a tool! *Not a dig at you Manda, just a general...

Job is half an hour or so outside Edinburgh, the main procurement team of 30+ staff are in london but a new team of 3 analysts and a manager are based up here. It was my managers boss that was doing the Skype interviews from London.

Re: What'cha Like?

to be honest it's a procurement role so saving money is key, using skype is a lot cheaper than either flying all the candidates to london or having a director out the business for a day by flying her up from london! My new job title is pretty decent too, I'm going to be a Procurement Operations Anal...

Cheers, finally aFter nearly 12 years I am leaving the NHS! Really good offer from Sky although it is a bit strange taking a job when I am yet to actually meet anyone from Sky face to face! First interview was over the phone and the 2nd was done over skype!

I refuse to acknowledge any American band as punk. Except the Ramones, an American band, basically started punk? Dearie me! Ramones started punk? in 1974? What about the likes of Iggy Pop in the Iguanas 11 years earlier? The Deviants in 67, New York Dolls in 71, the Jam in 72 or Television in 73? R...

One thing I would say against A7X headlining is that unlike every other headliner we have seen in the past, they don't really have any songs that non-fans will know!

Re: Let Us Discuss What Ye Be Thinking Right Now

Kings of Leon and Arctic Monkeys are the other Open'er headliners. I am very tempted. KOL are horrific live and the fans that the would bring to any festival are equally horrific! It's funny how things come around, isn't it? When I first met my wife (she wasn't my wife at the time obv, she was the person who would later become my wife), it was at a party. She was about to marry someone else and I was about to move in with my girlfriend. Two years later, both those relationsh...
