Early Bird tickets - free european show offer?

If I order my tickets now, which I was just about to do, I save from the doubtlessly inflated price for next year... BUT - do I get the free European tickets like I did this year?? Will that offer apply in December but not now? Zac, could you confirm please? Or anyone that knows. I'd rather spend th...

Re: Not a good experience - disabled camping (2011 Edition)

Interesting stuff. I think it's difficult in terms of numbers - I suppose the ratios have to be the same as normal camping (so many toilets to so many campers). Only Zac and the team will know that I suppose. Same with cleaning - I think the toilets throughout the site could do with a little more at...

I didnt get dressed up, I had my costume with me but I didnt know what the weather was doing. So I would have either been boiling or frozen to death.

Saw Hellboy in the Slayer pit I think it was. Near a banana.

Re: Fancy dress Friday

I think the problem with superhero friday is the fact that everyone usually dresses as a superhero which is boring so I personally didn't want to do it. I was dressed as Wallace and my girlfriend was Gromit. We had another couple of costumes but weather didn't allow us to wear these :( I saw you! :-)

Re: Fancy dress Friday

I saw a few really good one's actually. A girl dressed as Harley Quinn and her partner dressed as The Joker - looked fantastic together Saw a lot of half-arsed attempts too - like people just wearing a Batman or Superman logo'd t-shirt  I think I may have been too battered to notice! We were a...

The deposit scheme not available on these then?

I'm skint after the weekend, so can't afford two RR tickets just now :(

Fancy dress Friday

Didn't see many superheroes to be honest. Did anyone else?

Wonder if this wasn't as popular this year or whether the timewarp thing on Saturn persuaded more people last year.

Saw some good costumes over the weekend though. Quite a few of those morph suit things. :)

Coverage on Sky Arts

Apparently 30th July on Sky Arts 1, so I hear.
Not sure whether it'll be any good, but there we go.

Edit inb4 it's on the other thread! Yep, didn't spot that. :( Feel free to delete if you want.

Re: Rock royalty or Guest/Media camping

The traffic was done exactly the same way in 2010 but because we had a bigger attendance and people arrived earlier there were queues at both sides of the park. It can't be helped unfortunately when trying to get a lot of people through a couple of entrances. They cleared pretty quickly. Was it? Ap...

Re: Negative Feedback

Next year Adam I think you and I should meet at Saturn and I will explain to you all the reasonings that go into the decision to put it where it is. There are many. There's a few people's comments on RR (generally positive) on the Info section/camping, if you want to have a nose at those Zac. Cheers.

Re: Negative Feedback

Only thing that annoyed me was the amount of dangerous objects being thrown in the crowd, empty bottles I'm fine with but when people start throwing full bottles and cans it just gets dangerous. Between Weezer and Biffy my friend got hit on the back off the head with a full can and cut his head ope...

Re: Not a good experience - disabled camping (2011 Edition)

I honestly don't know the answer to this, so bear with me. What's disabled like compared to normal camping? It seems that the main complaints are with number of showers, number and state of toilets etc. What are they like in comparison to normal camping? I ask out of interest as I was in RR, camped ...

Re: Rock royalty or Guest/Media camping

Barns - really good. Richard Cheese pulling out of his acoustic set - not good Food in RR - very good, inc breakfast. Checking of wrist bands - didn't happen (particularly as last years normal camping bands were black, the same as RR this year) Toilets - fairly good - not the same quality as Luxury ...

Re: MISSING/STOLEN TICKETS

The fact they're even saying they have a picture of your door suggests something is wrong. Last time I checked, delivery companies don't take pictures of doors when they've delivered something. yeah, I'm thinking why would they have done that? only way I could imagine is if they dont require a sign...
