Re: Next Announcement

For those wondering. Jamie left Sylosis because he runs Siege of Amida Records and that's taking up more time now so he couldn't really commit to the band.

Re: Next Announcement

HAHA, I fail. Sylosis are playing. I'm happy to see them there but with no singer it might not be as good as I hope.
Casino Brawl, Slaves To Gravity, Fei Comodo Skindred and Black Spiders. AWESOME

Re: Next Announcement

Sylosis might not be playing now. Jamie (the singer) has left the band. I know that Heaven's Basement also don't have a singer to they could still play but it looks unlikely for now. http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendId=7457012&blogId=534596882

Re: Next Announcement

Subgenres confuse me, what the hell is 'mathcore' :? Is it to do with maths? Please say it's to do with maths or some such geekery Mathcore - Technical Metalcore or something I just know Architects and Dillinger Escape Plan fall under that genre (I think...) Dillinger are definitely mathcore. Archi...

I don't think that the bands for Red Bull Room Jam are announced until next week.

Cathedral would be good. I've only heard The Guessing Game and liked it a lot, would like to see what they have to offer live.

Very excited about them. I just hope they get a decent time to play. They have to be in a tent, best place for the music.

Re: Kbaysurf's Rumour Mill

I saw them with Trigger the Bloodshed the other year, I wasn't that impressed with them. This is mainly because the sound was a bit gooseberry. I love mental bands like Dillinger, Botch, Rolo Tomassi etc but never really got in to them.

Well even if Darran leaves earlier they've confirmed that Gav Burrough will be making the switch to guitar and Richard Boucher is gonna be the new bassist.

Yes. His name is Jesse Magera.

Yeah I know his name. I wasn't sure if he was still the drummer.

Re: Next Announcement

I think Parkway Drive and Arch Enemy will be in the next announcement. However, I haven't looked at tour dates to see if they're available. Arch enemy have stated their headline tour will be the only UK dates this year. Well that tour has been postponed now. So they could come over for Sonisphere t...

will stay well away from- Skunk Anansie, Pendulum, Family Force 5

most wanted (if there possible of course) - Malefice, Killswitch, Bleeding Through

wish you could have (from other uk fests) 36 Crazyfists, As I Lay Dying, Megadeth

Re: Kbaysurf's Rumour Mill

Down are playing at High Voltage Festival in London the weekend before Sonisphere, also the Sonisphere front page used to have a video up that had an interview with Phil! That could be relevant... somehow, maybe, possibly? Not meaning to pour cold water on that Idea, the video is from last year I c...

Sadly it's been confirmed now. Never been a massive fan of Type O Negative but I appreciate their music and well they're massively important. I think that they gave Roadrunner their first Gold album.

Re: better quality wristbands?

The only problem I had was with the plastic clip. Mine tended to dig into my wrist and I randomly have a scar from it. I didn't wear it for that long after the festival.

Re: Pete Steele RIP

Last I heard is that nothing on this has been confirmed I am slightly skeptical as the band faked his death a few years ago. http://www.metalhammer.co.uk/news/type-o-negatives-pete-steele-found-dead/comment-page-1/#comment-47784 If it is true it is very sad news I hope it is only a rumour.

They'd be AMAZING. And further proof Reading CAN produce good stuff  No Made Sense? Arusha Accord? Exit Ten? Sylosis? Viatrophy? I wasn't saying we had nothing  (Technically, most of Arusha Accord live in Maidenhead...unless they've moved in the last couple of years I guess...) Fair enough.
