Re: Rumours Roundup: 2014

I would very happily see Streetlight Manifesto in a tent over Prodigy or Metallica again. I can't find anything about Gaslight being in canada over sonisphere, if they were there that would complete the line up for me.

I think ADTR, Future of the Left, Nails and nofx could happen. The Black Keys and The Pixies are around at the same time, would love them to fill a saturn headline, with a curveball like Wu Tang Clan or Cypress Hill somewhere too.

Seasons 1 & 2 are good
Season 3 is the best
Season 4 gets a bit tired
Season 5 they completely changed the format which is great and they seem to be building up to something massively awesome.

Re: The state of the music world

In terms of torrenting, the way i see it is that one checks out a band by downloading their album. If they like it, they'll go to a few shows, buy a shirt and the album (in my case, normally on vinyl, meaning even more money). I know not everybody does the same, and i think thats where the problem i...

Personally, i'd be very happy with The Black Keys, MGMT and The Pixies playing sonisphere, but don't quite think it'll happen.

Doubt Motley Crue will headline second stage against Aerosmith. Would be horrible for classic rock fans who want to see both and other people who want to see neither  Can we make Streetlight Manifesto a rumour, please? its not quite the desicion making announcement i wanted (Tool, Foos, Muse or Chili Peppers), but it could have been worse. I'm still gonna wait for some undercard, but unless someone great is on bohemia, i have no problem with dancing like a lunitic to prodigy in a field.
