Re: The 2014 Rant Thread

On Friday I saw a young couple with a pram and what looked like a very young baby. Now it may have been a life like doll and a genius way to sneak in a crate of beer but if not - would you really bring a baby in a pram to a Sonisphere?! If people really want to go, and they could not get a babysitt...

Re: The 2014 Rant Thread

Well I've been there and done all that at festivals, nowadays it's just cigarettes and alcohol for me (sorry to quote Oasis haha). @ Lanky- I hope you got to see at least SOME of the other bands you wanted to see!? I know this is a 'given', but both times I have been at Sonisphere when Iron Maiden h...

Yeah I got a bottle of water for £1.50- from the Mexican stand fairly close to Saturn. Their burrito was very nice!

Re: The 2014 Rant Thread

Having read all of these posts, it's actually made me think of a few rants, but one in particular: * I saw loads of small children there, and I mean loads! When looking at booking tickets, it stated that under 5's would NOT be allowed! And yet I saw soooo many! My daughter is 4 years old (nearly 5),...

Re: The 2014 Praise Thread

Only went for one day, but- it was good! It seemed very much of a continuation of 2011, which is fine by me.

The Apollo/Saturn stage alternation has always been a great idea, so pleased you kept it that way!

@ lanky....oooh dear- hopefully having a rant will help somewhat! I hate it when people ruin stuff by being like that! :(

As for Maiden- didn't really watch them! :o ;) But thoroughly enjoyed the bands we went for (Alestorm, Ghost, Carcass, Deftones, Slayer)

Re: The 2014 Rant Thread

So I figure if anything annoying happened over the weekend, we can leave it here and forget about it forever :D Metallica... not the band themselves. Best i've seen them since Wembley in 2007, plus they played a few songs I wasn't expecting. (I voted for By Request then stayed away from it... Hate ...

I spent a lot of time at the old Jager stage. Great place to see bands out in the sunshine (most of the time it was sunny!). Fun fair was a pain in the ass though and hopefully the tent will block out their music. Never had a Jager there though...might have to change that this weekend. haha, yes go...

Yeah I remember in 2011 as well you had to be pretty much on the Jager stage to hear anything because of the funfair noise. I remember ...
