Re: No Sky Arts Higlights

Haha apparently I'm being told I'm not allowed to watch it and have to watch it all in one go with friends on Sunday night. I'll still have a cheeky glimpse every now and then mind :P

Re: No Sky Arts Higlights

Seems like there is a highlights show again... from a facebook post yesterday "Still editing our highlights programme and to watch out for announcement on that." So we've gone from no sky arts -> there is a sky arts -> sorry there is no sky arts -> shitty scuzz thing -> we are still doing ...

Re: No Sky Arts Higlights

https://twitter.com/Sonisphere/status/486930512335110146 This seems to speak otherwise. I'm glad, the highlights always give us a chance to see bands that normally wouldn't release footage themselves and they are always great to look back at. I'm assuming whatever programming there is wouldn't be a...

Re: The 2014 Praise Thread

Brilliant festival in every single way, I would list but everything else seems to have been mentioned. Probably never going to go to download again unless they book a once in a lifetime lineup (or if soni isn't on :? ) My main praise goes to the security guys at the end of Maiden. There were 2 young...

Re: Rate the bands you saw

Friday Defiled 7/10, never listened to them before, not what I expected but they were a solid opener. Anti-Flag 8/10, also a surprise a very good set from a band I've not listened too. :D Gary Numan 3/10, very dull and repeated the same 'shake my head in front of the mic' thing too many times. The s...

Re: Stage times ready to print A4 or pocket waterproof

I remember having some simple table back in 2011 listing the time on the X-axis and the stages on the Y-axis, making it easier to see who's clashing with who. Has anyone seen or made anything like this yet? :) There's the clashfinder. No idea how well it prints off mind. http://clashfinder.com/s/so...

Re: Festival regrets/lessons learned

My lesson from my Download last year. If you are in a group buy your food together (if you can). We each bought our own individual food and ended up all buying the same stuff thinking "oh I'll buy a couple of packs of these because everyone else will like them", ended up having about 8 bag...

Re: Site map is up

Are there food stalls and stuff outside of the arena or are the arena stalls open all the time for campers? Only been to Download before and they have the seperate campsite village/arena but it looks to be all one thing here.

World Cup

Hi lurked these forums for a while now but I've got a query. Download's announced that they are showing England's world cup match on the 2nd stage screens. In the (albeit unlikely  ) event that get to the quarters it'll either be on the friday or saturday of soni. Am I safe to assume the game w...
