Re: Sonisphere 2016

From what I've heard from a couple of different places, it's sounding like Soni will be on next year. It's sounding like Maiden are booked as the Sunday night headliner (Can't say where I originally heard this from, but I asked Steve Harris when he was on tour with British Lion, and he told me they ...

Re: Announcements coming soon

Looking like I won't be going to any festivals, but does anyone know if & when Bloodstock do day tickets? Decent lineup on the Friday.

Re: Announcements coming soon

I don't know how much truth is in it, but I was talking to an old colleague of mine, who now works for Kili, and I mentioned Soni 2015, to which he said 'Keep an eye on the social media pages, you shouldn't have too long to wait'... Don't know if he was joking or he was hinting at it, but we'll see.

Re: Rumours Roundup: 2015

In all honesty, I'd rather Soni announced the bands they have sometime soon, even if they aren't sure it'll go ahead, at least then we'll know & they can find out what people think.

https://twitter.com/KiliZac/status/531895680131145728 This is great news. Not because Sonisphere is getting announced but so I can call metalicbear on his ignorant baseless bullshit :D Zac has posted saying it is not to do with Sonisphere, so you will have to wait a little longer for the shock that...

Re: Rumours Roundup: 2015

What sort of draw would Ozzy solo be? I know Sabbath would be a heavyweight headliner but the ozzman on his own? A friday night headliner? Ozzy solo would surely be Sunday, or at the very least, Saturday headliner? Personally I'd rather see an Ozzy solo set than Sabbath, get to hear Ozzy's songs as...

I'm really hoping Ozzy headline's too, though I think its more likely to be Sabbath than just Ozzy.

For a while I've been doubting it will go ahead, but I now think if they get 1 or 2 decent headliners, it could go ahead, say if they got Ozzy and AC/DC

Re: Bands you want to see at Sonisphere 2015

I can see there is not much love for KISS from certain posters but in 2012 they were my pick of the headliners. That was mainly because they were up on Friday night and compared to Alice Cooper on 2010 (and Prodigy in 2014), it seemed a reasonable booking. We haven't seen too much of KISS over here...

Re: The State of Sonisphere 2015

I really can't see it going ahead, they'd really struggle without Metallica or Maiden, who obviously won't play again next year, so I think they'll need a REALLY strong headliner to go ahead, which I just can't see happening

Heard a rumour the other day that Slipknot and Motley Crue will be 2 of Download's headliners. Strong rumours that Pantera are reforming to do Euro festivals next year. Mastodon are looking likely to be headlining one of the nights at Bloodstock. That's weird, I've heard the exact same rumour from ...

Re: Anyone found a way to remove the wristband?

They changed the designs of wristbands this year, it's much harder to take off with the twist and pull method. Previously, the teeth were just a part of the lock itself, whereas now the teeth are seperate, so you can't twist the whole lock any more. The plastic casing just twists hopelessly round a...

Anyone found a way to remove the wristband?

Has anyone found a way of removing this years wristband without cutting it? The usual twist it and slide it off method doesn't seem to work, and I'm not allowed to have it on at work, so want to be able to take it on and off.

To be perfectly honest, I think their promotion was absolutely gooseberry. I only found out about the festival in the first place on this forum, and I only live literally 5-10 minutes away. Though the music wasn't to my personal taste, I think they had a fairly good lineup, but they needed to promot...

Are we expecting a new Maiden album next year?

I've heard a lot of rumors about this, and I can actually see it happening..

Have Maiden actually said anything themselves or is it just speculation? What does everyone else think?
