Re: Kerrang Review!!

Can someone just post a scan of the review? At least then we can see the text and how they are justifying those appalling ratings. It doesn't help that they have a different guy on each stage, all with varying opinions. ^That, 5 star ratings are to make sponsers and advertisers happy, reviews give ...

Re: Negative Feedback

I love that we are on 12 pages of negative feedback and only 3 of positive when in my opinion it was a bloody brilliant weekend. We are reading all of these though so feel free to keep telling us what you thought and where we can change things for next year, we will. You want positivity, put on spi...

Re: Security Complaint

So you were observed doing what would have looked like breaking into the van, then when security tried to intercept you ran from them?

and you're surprised they treated you like gooseberry and threw you out the festival?

Re: Negative Feedback

Oh that reminds me, a video screen on the outside of the Bohemia would be cool. Or/and pump it through to the main stage video's when nothing else is on, may help alleviate crowding issues in the tent too. But only after you've sorted the bogs out. Oh, and we ended up in the-very-farthest-away car ...

Chips are vegan, you all need to shut up. Absurd minority diet choices cannot be catered for on a large scale, so don't expect it. If I just randomly decided that the only thing I'd eat for the rest of my life was Spaghetti Bolognese then I'd have no right to complain about it not being at Sonisphe...

Can whoever is in charge of booking the toilets, please tick the box that says "serviced" please. Portaloos don't have the magic pipe thats carries piss'n'gooseberry to far away and thus need emptying, and cleaning occasionally too. And yeah, the bohemia security was a joke, at least give ...

But of course! Police would never do anything underhand to earn money. Except for selling the personal details of car accident victims to predatory companies who'll harass and pressurise them to make fraudulent compensation claims. Or selling the details of murdered children to scummy journalists so...

Learnt nothing from me- you deduced that yourself.

Of course, the theory that the modern police service is geared towards easy target ratios, and they're just not clever or caring enough to consider the implications, is equally valid and believable.

Re: Security

I used to think the police dog cordons (witnessed one at another festival gate a few years back) were all about targets (easy crimes detected/solved ratio) but when you think about it, by "cleansing" the audience they're creating a demand on site.. lets say just 10,000 wanting £50 worth, t...

Re: The best way to charge your phone at soni is....

If you have a car charger handy, bring a couple of 6v torch batteries, wired in series for 12v- should get a few charges out of them and shouldn't more than a pound or so each.

Would any of the nice people at Soni be able to hint to the Sisters that the set they did in Berlin on 01/03/11 would be jizz worthy! :music-rockon: http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/the-sisters-of-mercy/2011/columbiahalle-berlin-germany-43d213ab.html Doubtfull, late tent gigs tended to be an hour touc...

When people ask me where I'm from, I tell them I grew up in the forest of dean, but am not "from" there. People who've spent time in the forest of dean "get" this. If you wanted a "gig in a field" you should have gone to download, if quantity of bands classed as broader...

It's rare but it happens. Bring nothing valuable, you hardly need it, or like said use lockers. I'd never put a padlock on a tent myself and you'd just have a ripped, robbed tent.

Download must have done this, shirley?

I think evan slipknot, korn etc know better than to be boxed and marketed like that- at least with metallica & co it's a nod to history and you could argue, a celebration of the longevity of their success.

Bon jovi @ sonisphere? For real? Aren't they just a bit a whole damn lot too MOR? Half the tickets would be snapped up by people with little to no interest in the metal/alternative music scene... Way to go ruin a festival pal.

The darkness look likely to me. Download appearance fits the pseudonym, they're reformed and want/need to generate publicity, and they're established enough I guess to fit the billing.

Damn shame, but with many exceptional/talented/real bands on the bill, you gotta have your ying and yang I guess.

Why the feck does anyone else care? How can you be so vapid and uninteresting you begin to worry about what t...
