Re: Beyond Magnetic

I really like all 4 songs. The riffs sort of remind me of the old days. My favorites are Bullet and Babylon. Really enjoyed them.

Re: Black Sabbath reform

Great news. I would love to see Black Sabbath live again. Enjoyed it the last time. Don't expect much from Ozzy anymore (he has gone down hill noticeably from the last times I have seen him in concert), but out of nostalgia this will be amazing.

Re: CD Format to be abandoned by 2013...

I personally do not like it. I like owning the release itself and having a physical copy. I like the artwork and the lyrics and liner notes. I don't want to go digital. I enjoy collecting the music physically. I enjoy going to music stores and perusing through the different CD's. It is part of the e...

Re: Ugly Kid Joe

I really enjoyed them when they first came out and too bought all the albums when they were released.(Enjoyed seeing the videos on MTV too, back when MTV was actually a music station and played videos...) I thought they were just a good fun band. Nothing spectacular but good fun. I would love it if ...

Hoping a lot of these bands head through Europe next Summer. Would love to catch quite a few of them at either Rock im Park or Sonisphere. Some of these bands need to do their own tour as well.

Re: 2012 headliners?

I prefer different bands every year, it changes it up and makes it more interesting. There is one exception for me, and that is Metallica. They can headling any festival every year. The other two headliners would have to be different though.

If he has a 60% mortality rate why does he carry on making music. He a rich man by now he could retire to the bahamas or something. I think his lifestyle contributed to the disease myself, as the disease is based on the immune system, which he had weakened himself. I am pretty sure he does not have...

The story states his immune system failed for unknown reasons. It fails to mention that your immune system can fail if you're taking too much drugs or alcohol. Your description of his performance sounds like hw was off his skull, to be honest and therefore couldn't play Download the next day. He wa...

Re: KoRn

They were fantastic last year at ozzfest, and much better than they had been at download the previous year. The only shoddy performance really was download 2006, when the singer was too wasted to show up. Would definitely be up for seeing them but aren't they more or less download's house band so ca...

Re: KoRn

I'm sure you could say the same about slayer (soni 11 aside, as I thought they were incredible once more), but I'd still be happy to see them, even if they didn't reach their former heights. Slayer actually is doing the same for as Korn for some reason. Not sure why though. Love the band as well......

Re: KoRn

I have just found the last few years of their shows to be a let down compared to their older shows. But like what was said before. It is all in the eye of the beholder. Life would be boring if we all had the same opinions, especially on music.

Re: KoRn

On their day they're still amazing live. I know nobody really cares that much about their output in about the last 6 years, but they've still got the songs to put on an awesome show. Unless you saw them back between 1994 and 2000. I find the show today is only a fraction of what it was back then. B...

Re: KoRn

Naw, don't need them anymore. I really like their music, but to me they are only an image of what they used to be. Seen them so many times beginning with back in the mid 90s and they just don't come across as good for me anymore.

What do I like? The fact that I am on vacation for the 2nd time year. First time was in July to go and see Sonisphere France and then off to Normandy. This time it is 12 days and off to Egypt.

So yeah, here I sit drinking a bottle of wine and just enjoying it. I like that...

The second after I read the Metal Hammer article, I said to myself: 'Download or Soni next year for them, then?' Great news, btw Yeah, they're certain to do one or the other, unless they resurrect ozzfest. But the chances of that are pretty remote with 2 major hard rock festivals existing already (...

But seriously, I am genuinely embarrassed for our country. I really would not be too ashamed of it. Every nation in the world (even the civilized ones...) has its fair share of scum. The festivals is just great, no matter what the lineup is. The organization is amazing and it is probably the most peaceful festival out their (I know that is a crazy idea considering it is a metal festival).

Well I have always had long hair. Starting back in the 80s and then I cut it when I joined ROTC and then the Army. After leaving the Army 6 years ago I grew my hair back out. Had really long hair down to about the small of my back, until... ...Saturday. I finally cut it off again. I am not getting a...
